Google enforces US Digital Millennium Copyright Act

I was doing a search today and I noticed something a little different when I scrolled down to the bottom of the page. There was a notice about a website that was removed from the search listings. Apparently Google is taking a very aggressive stance about flaunting their enforcement of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

US Digital Millennium Copyright Act -This page will let you know about the “good faith” attempts to contact offending parties and steps to take to report a website. It also provides a link to the US government copyright website.

read the DMCA complaint – this is the complaint against seotopranks.com (the website has been removed when I checked on 9/06/2007)
