The long awaited, highly anticipated Google Voice is now here. I was one of the lucky ones that actually had a GrandCentral account so when I logged in today and I had a nice little message.
so ofcourse I click the “Yes, Upgrade me” link and was quickly on my way to updateing my account. It did happen very seamlessly even with a little message along the way.
There is one cool feature in particular that I am eager to see in action. If you notice on the screen shot above there is “Transcribe my voicemail” checked. You will actually be able to read your voice mails without even listening to them.
Wow! That is really awesome.
So let play for a minute and have some fun. You will notice that I didn’t blur out my phone number on the screen shots so here’s what you need to do:
- Call the phone number in the screen shot and leave a funny message
- Post a comment letting me know that you left a message
After you do that I will reply to the comments and will post what gets transcribed by Google Voice. Not that I need to mention it but please keep it clean

I believe this to be innovative , it caught my attention and yes I would like to have it, but I would also like to know more about it.
